You Say Hello And I Say Goodbye

Sad to say, this will be my last post regarding London as I’ve finally made my way back to the states. I’ve got to give it up to the people of the UK who were so incredibly friendly without any expectations! You will be sorely missed.

My last day was spent running to consolidate my VAT for the airport and I had given up hope of shooting the latest windows at Selfridges. Their Hello Beauty campaign celebrates the wide range of everyday individuals and diversity in what beauty truly is.

One of the images below really hit home with 60% of adults feeling ashamed of how they look! Being that I was across the street when shooting these, I was able to watch people as they checked out the windows and wonder what thoughts were going through their heads and what dialog might arise because of them. I guess I really loved the Selfridge windows experience because they’re not simply shoving more consumerism down your throat but turning the conversation back to their customers.
