A Date at Serpentine Gallery + A Stroll Through Hyde Park.

Italian designer Martino Gamper curates the new exhibition at Serpentine Gallery titled design is a state of mind. The exhibit features a collection of shelving systems displaying collections of design objects that impact our everyday lives.

Martino Gamper says, “There is no perfect design and there is no über-design. Objects talk to us personally. Some might be more functional than others and the emotional attachment is very individual. This exhibition will showcase a very personal way of collecting and gathering objects – these are pieces that tell a tale.”

This exhibit makes one look around their home and think about their things functional or otherwise and how they choose to curate them. That need to present, can often function at a subconscious level.
